Privacy Policy
A plain-language explanation of what MOMENT uses, why it is needed, and when it is deleted.
Effective date: September 1, 20261. Who manages your information?
박유하 (‘MOMENT’) manages personal information for the MOMENT service.
Contact: momenttimer.help@gmail.com
2. What information do we use, and why?
| Information | Purpose | How long we keep it |
|---|---|---|
| Email, hashed password, and email verification status | Sign-up, login, account recovery, and security | Until you delete your account |
| Reason for leaving and optional feedback, stored separately from account details | Product improvement | One year after collection |
| Task name, start and end times, duration, lap history, goals, settings, and device identifier | Save timer sessions, keep device sessions separate, and provide analytics | Until you delete the data or your account |
| Notion access tokens, workspace, database and property matches, and sync status | Send sessions and analytics to the Notion database you select | Until you disconnect Notion or delete your account |
| Feedback type and content, and reply status | Review and answer requests and improve the product | Until you delete your account |
| Paddle customer, transaction and subscription IDs, access entitlement, amount, currency, and payment, refund and dispute status | Grant access, confirm payments, handle refunds and disputes, and meet legal obligations | For the period required by applicable law |
| Access and request times, hashed security-limit values, error logs, and random visitor ID | Prevent abuse, resolve incidents, and improve the service flow | Until the purpose is fulfilled or the legal retention period ends |
MOMENT does not store full payment-card numbers. Paddle provides the checkout and processes card details.
3. When do we use other companies?
| Provider | What it does | Information that may be shared |
|---|---|---|
| Vercel, Inc. | Hosts the website and servers | Service request data and operational logs |
| Neon, Inc. | Runs the database | Account, time sessions, settings, and payment reference data |
| Plus Five Five, Inc. (Resend) | Sends sign-up verification and password-reset emails | Email address and email content |
| Paddle.com Market Limited and regional Paddle entities | Acts as merchant of record and handles payments, subscriptions, and refunds | Buyer details and payment and transaction data |
| Notion Labs, Inc. | Sends data to the Notion workspace you choose | Notion tokens and the time sessions and analytics you choose to send |
These providers may be located outside your country or use servers in other countries. Information is sent over encrypted connections and processed for the periods required by each provider's agreement, policy, and applicable law.
If you do not connect Notion or make a purchase, information needed only for those features is not shared.
4. What is deleted when you close your account?
- We delete time sessions, laps, settings, device sessions, and your private embed link from MOMENT's servers.
- We delete Notion access and refresh tokens, database matches, and pending sync jobs.
- By default, pages already created in your Notion workspace are not deleted. A Notion page is moved to trash with a deleted session only if you previously enabled source deletion in Advanced settings.
- Minimum records that must be retained by law, such as payment and refund records, are kept separately from general account data and deleted when the required period ends.
MOMENT also asks the current browser to clear its locally stored MOMENT data. Temporary data left in browsers on other devices cannot be erased remotely, so you may need to clear site data on those devices. After deletion, your private embed link is invalidated and can no longer access server features.
Where Korean electronic-commerce law applies, contract, cancellation, payment, and supply records may be retained for five years, and consumer complaint and dispute records for three years.
5. What can you request?
You may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of processing for your personal information. You can disconnect Notion or delete your account from the account page. Send other requests to the contact above; we will respond after verifying your identity.
6. How do we protect your information?
Passwords are stored as one-way hashes, not as plain text, and Notion tokens are encrypted on the server. Login cookies are configured to be difficult for browser scripts to read, and important changes require login and password confirmation.
7. How will we tell you about changes?
We will announce important changes before they take effect through the service, email, or another clear method. For changes that do not materially affect your rights, such as typo or contact-detail corrections, we may notify you by updating the effective date on this page.
